Hackney Wick welcomed 90 Indian School of Business MBA students as part of the London Business School programme focusing on Global Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The theme was how to harness the power of the creative community through innovation and entrepreneurship.
The students learnt about the history and evolution of Hackney Wick & Fish Island as a hub for innovation, creative entrepreneurship, social enterprise and community action as well as how corporates can better engage and support a wider set of stakeholders and work effectively with local communities.
They left feeling inspired by fresh ideas and energy from independents and creative placemaking from a hyper-local perspective.
