Béton Brut Gallery is a new collaboration between Creative Wick and Béton Brut. A gallery that will host exhibitions of the work of Hackney Wick and Fish Island’s best established and emerging artists. Béton Brut‘s first exhibition opened on the 14th September featuring Gavin Turk, presenting ‘Transit’.

Home to more artists than anywhere else in Europe, Hackney Wick is a unique melting pot for creatives from all over the world. In collaboration with Hackney WickED and Creative Wick – the team behind Portraits of Hackney Wick celebrated local creative talent. 

In April 2016, Creative Wick, Alias Hire, a Hackney Wick based film equipment hire company and Open Vizor, with the support of the Wick Award, delivered a free film school for 12 young people from Hackney Wick and Fish Island and the surrounding communities of East London.  The film school was based at Hub67.

Creative Wick delivered a tour of Hackney Wick’s creative economy for Thinking Bob.
