CREATE

Creative Wick facilitated the ‘Create’ project from early concept stage through to delivery –  found the site, obtained the permissions, ensured that local artists were commissioned and will be running a children’s after school graffiti workshop & staging an exhibition of prints from the project. The Arts Council also commissioned a short film that can be seen here.

CREATE artwork required 2,850 litres of recycled paint, a 200-litre bathtub for mixing and a team of 30 supporting volunteers and six artists. Due to the scale of the piece, Eine could only check the progress of the artwork with the use of drone footage.

Click here to watch as artist Ben Eine creates one of the largest pieces of street art the world has ever seen – ‘An Unconventional Canvas’, in collaboration with Creative Wick, Global Street Art, Zippo and Tupman Brothers.
