Creative Wick Film School 2017

Creative Wick is offering a free 2-month film school opportunity open to all East Londoners aged 16 to 18 years old.  Applications for the Creative Wick Film School 2017 need to be received by MIDNIGHT on Sunday 12th March.

Creative Wick Film School 2017 is being supported by Alias Hire, BT Creative, Openvizor and the West Ham United Foundation. The film school starts on Tuesday March 28th and will be delivered by some of Hackney Wick and Fish Island’s best professional film makers. The film school will be based at various locations in and around Hackney Wick and will provide a basic introduction to film making and give the opportunity to write, produce, shoot, edit and screen a short film – valuable experience that could lead to opportunities for further education, training or employment.  The finished short films will be Premiered at BT Sport’s headquarters on the evening of Thursday 25th May 2017.

Interested applicants should submit a film idea or even better, a draft script together with a CV or covering letter (including age and address) to hello@creativewick.com by midnight on 12th March.

Primary roles – producer/director/editor?

Secondary roles – camera/sound/production design?

Successful candidates will be notified by 5pm on Friday 17th March 2017 and will need to be available on ALL of the following dates:
March 28th (introduction/pre-production 6-8pm); April 4th (pre-production 6-8pm), 18th (pre-production 6-8pm), 22nd, 23rd (filming both 10am-5pm) and 25th (editing 6-9pm); May 2nd (editing 6-9pm) and 25th (Premiere 7-9.30pm).
